A heritage landmark in the heart of Santiago
Hotel Magnolia occupies a 1929 heritage building in Santiago's historic centre, steps from Cerro Santa Lucía and the Lastarria district. Restored into a boutique hotel, it brings together history, architecture, contemporary design, gastronomy and personal service across 40 rooms — from Superior and Deluxe to the Magnolia Signature Suite.
Its DeMo restaurant, terrace and cellar draw a following of their own. For a property this considered, the digital booking experience had to feel as deliberate as the building itself — and speak to very different travellers.

The challenge
Magnolia's audiences were not looking for the same thing — and its website had to speak to all of them.
The solution with Book2dream
Magnolia already had a sophisticated proposition. Book2dream gave it a direct channel able to present that proposition — and keep the guest relationship.
A relevant experience for every audience
Programs can be structured and presented by market, audience or trip motivation, so each traveller sees the stay that fits them.
More value in every booking
Add-ons like dinners and transfers can be added during the reservation, without taking the guest out of the flow.
A direct relationship with the guest
Phone and email are captured in the booking itself, so the hotel can reach guests before, during and after the stay.

Personalisation by type of traveller
A food-focused traveller, a couple, an international visitor and a group of friends are not looking for the same stay. Book2dream lets Magnolia structure these options and present them clearly within its direct channel.

The food-focused traveller
A stay paired with dinner or the DeMo experience, for guests who come for the table.

Wine lovers
Magnolia + Don Melchor, built around one of Chile's iconic cabernets.

Couples
A romantic experience, for an anniversary or a night away.

Groups of friends
Friendcation — a getaway designed for a group travelling together.

Celebrations
My Birthday My Rules, for guests marking a special date.

Keeping it simple
Bed & Breakfast — the essential stay, the simplest way in.

Add-ons at the right moment
Dinners and transfers can be added during the booking, so more of the trip is resolved in one place.
For the guest
More of the trip is sorted in a single flow — dining and arrival handled alongside the room.
For the hotel
Each reservation can carry more of the experience, raising its potential value without a separate step.

Recovering the guest relationship
Because the booking captures phone and email, Magnolia can reach the guest directly — the relationship a booking through intermediaries tends to break.

The commercial impact
Revenue from the international market grew 2.5x year over year, and direct sales reached 39% within that market — a channel Magnolia now owns.
Book2dream did not create the strategy on its own; it turned Magnolia's international strategy and layered proposition into an effective purchase experience, and kept the guest relationship in the hotel's hands.

Frequently asked questions
What results did Hotel Magnolia see with Book2dream?
Revenue from the international market grew 2.5x year over year, and direct sales reached 39% within that market. The 39% refers to the international market, not the hotel's total sales.
How does Book2dream personalise the offer by traveller?
Magnolia structures its programs — from Magnolia + Don Melchor to Friendcation — and presents them within its direct channel, so different audiences see the stay that fits them. The presentation is structured by the hotel, not generated automatically.
How does selling direct help the guest relationship?
The booking captures phone and email, so the hotel can coordinate before arrival, send confirmations and personalise the stay — a direct relationship that bookings through intermediaries tend to break.
